Degeorge Syndrome Details

The child having Degeorge SyndromeDiGeorge syndrome is the very difficult to fight
with the infection. Some times it is like the AIDS.
Mean this herass like AIDS.

DiGeorge syndrome is a rare congenital disease,
whose symptoms vary greatly between individuals
but often contain a history of recurrent infections,
heart defects, as well as the characteristics of the face.

DiGeorge syndrome is caused by a large deletion of
chromosome 22, produced by an error in the
recombinant meiosis (the process, which creates stem
cells and provides genetic variability in offspring).
This means that the removal of several genes
in this region are not present in patients with DiGeorge
syndrome. It seems that the change of symptoms of
the disease is related to the amount of genetic material lost in the chromosome deletion.

Although scientists already know that DGS gene is essential for normal development and
thymus glands, the loss of DGS is difficult. Some side effects such as heart problems, and
some of the language, can be treated by surgery or treatment, but theloss of immune
system T cells is more demanding and requires further research on recombinant and
functions of the immune system.
